Getting Started with SpacePay

This guide will walk you through creating your SpacePay account and completing the business verification process required to start accepting cryptocurrency payments.

Create an Account

Getting started with SpacePay is straightforward. Follow these steps to create your merchant account:

Visit the Dashboard

Go to the SpacePay Dashboard and click “Sign Up”.

Enter Business Information

Fill in the required information:
  • Company Name: Your registered business name
  • Industry: Select your business industry category
  • Country: Your business location
  • Business Email: Use your business email address
  • Phone Number: Business contact number
  • Website: Your company website URL
  • Logo: 100x100px (PNG or SVG)
You can sign up using your Google account for faster registration, or use your business email address.

Business Onboarding and Verification

SpacePay requires business verification (KYB - Know Your Business) to comply with financial regulations and ensure secure operations.

Required Documents

Before starting the verification process, gather these documents:

Business Registration

  • Certificate of Incorporation
  • Articles of Organization
  • Business License
  • Partnership Agreement (if applicable)

Identity Verification

  • Government-issued photo ID
  • Passport or Driver’s License
  • Must be of an authorized signatory

Address Verification

  • Utility bill (within 3 months)
  • Bank statement
  • Lease agreement
  • Government correspondence

Business Address

  • Business registration address
  • Operating address (if different)
  • Proof of business location

Verification Process

Wait for Support Contact

Once you’ve completed your account registration, our support team will contact you to gather additional KYC (Know Your Customer) and KYB (Know Your Business) information.

Provide Required Information

Our support team will guide you through providing:
  • Business registration documents
  • Identity verification for authorized signatories
  • Additional compliance information
  • Business activity details

Verification Review

Our compliance team will review your information and complete the verification process.
You’ll receive email updates about your verification status throughout the process.

Verification Timeline

Most applications are processed within 1-3 business days. You’ll receive email updates about your verification status.
Some applications may require additional review. This is normal for: - New business types - High-risk industries - Complex ownership structures - International businesses
If additional documents are needed, you’ll receive an email with specific requirements. Respond promptly to avoid delays.

Account Status

Track your verification progress in the dashboard:

Pending Verification

Your application is under review. You can still explore the dashboard and prepare your integration.

Verification Approved

Your account is fully verified and ready to accept live payments.

Additional Information Required

We need more information or documents. Check your email for specific requirements.

Verification Declined

Your application was declined. Contact support for more information and next steps.

Common Issues and Solutions

Problem: Documents are rejected due to poor quality.Solution:
  • Use good lighting when taking photos
  • Ensure text is clearly readable
  • Avoid shadows or glare
  • Upload original documents when possible
Problem: Business name on documents doesn’t match your application. Solution: - Ensure consistency across all documents - Use your registered business name exactly as it appears on official documents - Provide additional documentation if names have changed
Problem: Address documents are not accepted.Solution:
  • Use documents dated within the last 3 months
  • Ensure the address matches your business registration
  • Provide multiple documents if available
